Overview:
Reporting to the Manager, Total Rewards and working closely with the Senior Compensation Advisors, the Compensation Consultant will play a significant role as a member of the team and contribute to the overall success of Total Rewards on delivery of the non-union and union compensation programs at THP.
The Compensation Consultant roles initial key focus will be on supporting the pay equity and job evaluation programs. They will also contribute their knowledge and expertise in various ways through cyclical compensation processes such as the market surveys, benchmarking, salary increases and performance pay, providing analytical support, preparing reports and costing of scenarios, and will serve as trusted colleague supporting the Total Rewards department, HR partners and will collaborate with business leaders and clients in providing support and direction on daily compensation requests.

Location:
While this role is typically located at our Credit Valley Hospital site, it is currently being conducted remotely. Travel to all THP sites may be required at different times. Flexibility in working hours may also be required occasionally to support hospital initiatives.
We offer employees, in roles that are conducive to remote work, the flexibility and the right mix of remote and in-office work (approximately 80/20). Acknowledging that the primary works space will be remote work from home, but there will be times when onsite presence is appropriate just as there will be times when onsite presence may not be possible.
The expectation is that remote work locations, as part of the Flex First program, will be in the employee’s place of residence, and adhere to all THP policies and procedures, with special consideration towards privacy. Since employees should be available to return to the workplace with 24 hours’ notice, remote work outside of the province or country is not acceptable.
