Qualifications:

• Graduate of a recognized College or School of Nursing
• Baccalaureate Degree preferred
• Current certification or eligibility for certification from the College of Nurses of Ontario is required
• One year recent Obstetrical experience preferred
• Completion of an Obstetric Nursing Certificate Program from an accredited community collegepreferred
• Current BCLS
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program certificate (NRP) required
• Fetal Health Surveillance certification required
• Breastfeeding course required
• Demonstrates excellent communication skills and team work- Demonstrates strong attention to therapeutic relationships and patient and family-centered care
• Computer literacy
• Satisfactory attendance and performance record required
