Here’s what you will get to do………


You will receive some of the best hands-On training in the industry, learning and working alongside dedicated and compassionate professionals. You will be responsible for the technical and administrative functions related to unit dose dispensing and related manufacturing and prepackaging. The Structured Practical Training (SPT) technician student will complete all assignments and tasks as required by the Ontario College of Pharmacists for completion of the SPT program for Pharmacy Technicians. The successful incumbent must also be able to assist the Pharmacist with technical and clerical functions in an effort to attain a high level of clinical activity for the patients.

Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of a Pharmacy Technician program from an accredited community college
  • Some related pharmacy experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to recognize limitations of scope of practice
  • Demonstrated knowledge of drugs
  • Typing and computer experience an asset
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Eligible to register for Structured Practical Training (SPT) with Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP)
