In this role you will support the implementation of Epic, the Hospital Information System in the fall of 2020. OneTHP Support will provide just in time support to end users on the units during the go live phase of Epic (October 2020 to November 13, 2020).   Working across three hospital sites, and in a command centre, you will support and engage clinicians and end users on units and departments. Reporting into Project Controls Office, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one support to new users in various areas of the hospital by combining your knowledge and expertise of the new system with exceptional customer service skills to ensure hospital users are comfortable during the Go-Live process.   Here’s what you will get to do: - Provide support to THP staff and professional staff during the implementation of our hospital information system, Epic - Serve as a first-line problem solver, application champion and point of escalation for end users - Provide one-on-one guidance to physicians, nurses and other staff and assist with questions and issues as they relate to Epic - Identify and resolve issues for end users and/or escalate to the Command Centre as required Qualifications: - At minimum, you must be able to demonstrate relevant work experience in a customer service position and a graduate of a college or university program. - Hours of work will vary and flexibility is required (shift work will be required, including days, evenings, and nights). - Three 12 hour shifts a week between Monday and Friday (36 hours/wk), with potential for additional shifts depending on operational needs. - You must be available 24 hours a day, 5 days a week (Monday to Friday). - Day shift – 6:30 am to 6:30 pm - Night Shift – 6:30 am to 6:30 pm - Commitment to providing an exceptional experience for staff within a challenging and exciting healthcare environment. - Ability to learn, understand and apply new technologies. - Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking and business acumen. - Excellent communication skills with ability to build positive relationships.    Additional Information: - This position is a temporary, part-time contract for one month (October 12, 2020 to November 13, 2020). - Competitive pay rate. - You are required to provide your own computer and access to the internet for training.  - THP is not able to reimburse for expenses related to working from home. - Parking will be available with shuttle service to all hospital sites.
