We are currently seeking an Analyst to become the newest member of a dynamic and fast-paced team in the Department of Medical Affairs. The successful candidate will be able to keep up with rapid change, have strong interpersonal skills, and is willing to take on new challenges.   The Department of Medical Affairs supports clinical Program Leaders in meeting the credentialing, recruitment, performance management and quality of care needs of the 1300 Professional Staff (i.e. physicians, midwives and dentists) at Trillium Health Partners.   Reporting to the Manager of Medical Affairs, the Med Affairs Analyst will be responsible for supporting the operations of the department as well as supporting key projects that positively impact quality of care.  The Analyst will primarily focus on the coordination and management of departmental core processes, systems, and tools to support improved quality of care, engagement and communication with our Professional Staff. The successful candidate will work primarily at the Mississauga Hospital and is expected to travel among the three sites as needed.   Specific responsibilities/accountabilities include: - Managing the recruitment and credentialing process for Professional Staff - Responsible for the management and oversight of the yearly reappointment process for Professional Staff as per the Public Hospitals Act, Professional Staff By-laws, and Hospital policies and procedures; - Providing day to day operational support including: - Managing the professional staff quality improvement patient safety rounds attendance database; - Developing and maintaining the monthly professional staff rounds calendar - Ensuring compliance of the Chart Completion Policy and coordinating appropriate follow-up as required. - Assisting in the coordination and oversight of Professional Staff performance and practice issues; - Supporting the development and execution of services agreements with Professional Staff; - Participating in the planning and implementation of key projects, as directed by the Director, Medical Affairs; - Coordinating the development of formal reports and communications to the Professional Staff, Program Committee meetings, and the Board of Directors as required; Qualifications:           - College certificate or University degree in related field preferred.
