Reporting to the Patient Care Manager – Peri-Operative Care, the PACU/Day Surgery RN collaborates with the inter-professional team to provide airway assessment and management, cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring, pulse oximetry, and ongoing nursing assessment, diagnosis and intervention to all patients in the PACU and Day Surgery.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a recognized College or School of Nursing
- Current certification of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario is required
- Baccalaureate degree preferred
- Current B.C.L.S., Coronary Care 1 and Coronary Care 2 OR Critical Care Certificate required
- Minimum 1-2 years of recent experience in PACU or Critical Care required
- A commitment to complete A.C.L.S. certification and a Physical Assessment course
- Completion of Post Anesthetic Care/Peri-anesthesia course preferred or a commitment to complete is required
- Experience developing/delivering patient teaching materials/programs
- Demonstrated ability to provide patient/family centred care
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, prioritization and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team in a fast paced environment
- Evidence of ongoing recent professional development

Job Description:
This exciting position has been developed in response to new funding received to provide additional mental health services that will be offered after-hours and on weekends. This position will fulfill the role of primary clinician and conduct bio-psychosocial assessments, conduct daily therapy groups (psycho-education as well as process oriented) and provide individual intervention as a way of collaboratively addressing and monitoring symptom management. The principle responsibilities include providing mental health care to patients with complex medical and psychiatric needs, administering LOCUS, facilitating and co-facilitation psychotherapy groups, providing navigation service to assist in getting patients to the right level of care and fostering a therapeutic milieu.
Reporting to the Patient Care Manager of the Ambulatory Mental Health Services, the successful candidate will be an integral member of the inter-professional team.
Educational Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Social Work or Counselling psychology or equivelent
- Member of the Ontario College of Social Workers & Social Service Workers and/or Member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario; in good standing
- Registered Social Worker (RSW) or Registered Psychotherapist (RP)
- Minimum three years of clinical experience working with adults with psychiatric disorders
- Training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy & Cognitive Behaviour Therapy is essential
Qualifications:
- Strong case formulation skills required
- Solid mental health experience re: adult patients with complex psychiatric disorders
- Knowledge and experience with DBT, CBT treatment models essential
- Experience working effectively within an inter-professional collaboration model

Job Description:
The In-Patient Medicine & ICU Program at THP consists of a total of more than 350 beds across the CVH & MH and is staffed by large interprofessional teams who support the care of complex medicine patients within the Mississauga-Halton LHIN. Our in-patient units offer first-rate care in an innovative environment supporting the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs of our patients. Reporting to a Clinical Manager, the ideal candidate will be focused on providing excellent patient centered care in a dynamic environment where he/she will be given the opportunity to deliver care with compassion, excellence and courage.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of a recognized college or school of nursing
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and in good standing
- Able to function to the full scope of practice as per CNO
- Basic Life Support certification
- If working in an area with telemetry, successful candidates responsible for obtaining formal certification within six months of hire
- Demonstrated knowledge, experience and the ability to care for patients with the following care needs: initiation and maintenance of IV therapy, administration of medication above and below the drip chamber, blood and blood product administration, patient controlled analgesia, Enteral feeds, TPN, transfusion of blood products, central venous access devices CVADS (PICCs), blood glucose monitoring, naso-gastric tubes, wound management skills, routine infection control practices, normal and abnormal blood values, oxygen therapy, tracheostomies, and chest tubes.

· Document patient assessments in the health record

Qualifications:
· Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited School of Physiotherapy

The Technologist (MRT) will provide technical expertise and excellent patient care in both General Radiology and Angiography. The MRT will perform a variety of procedures that require professional knowledge, skill and judgment, in accordance with the standards of practice set by the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario and Trillium Health Partners.
Key Qualifications:
- Operate imaging equipment to produce images of high diagnostic quality.
- Previous experience and expertise in all areas of General Imaging; Vascular Interventional Radiography preferred.
- Ensures radiation safety standards are followed.
- Document and process patient data, including post processing of images and archiving images on PACS
- Provide patient care, as appropriate within the MRT’s scope of practice.
- Assist physician in procedures, as required. Operate ancillary equipment within the VIR suite.
- Perform basic verification and quality control checks on equipment in the VIR suite
- Develop extensive knowledge of VIR procedures and specialized supplies and equipment.
- Practice appropriate technique while working in a sterile environment.
- Assist with management of inventory and supplies.
- Graduate of a recognized program in Medical Radiation Technology.
- Evidence of continuing education, relevant to practice.
- Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO), in good standing.
- Eligible for membership with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
- Certification by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is required. Recertification is to be completed annually.
- Interventional continuing education preferred.

Job Description:
1A Surgery offers you the opportunity to provide a safe environment and quality patient care to a varied surgical population. From General Surgery , Orthopedics , Urology , Vascular Surgery and the specialties of Plastic, Maxilla-Facial Surgery and most recently our specialty of oncology surgery. With our growing oncology population we have added a 6 bed surgical observation unit requiring increase observation post surgery. Providing care to such a diverse group of surgical patients, this unit gives the motivated RPN opportunity to learn new skills and expand their knowledge of peri-operative nursing. Job Description:
The In-Patient Medicine & ICU Program at THP consists of a total of more than 350 beds across the CVH & MH and is staffed by large interprofessional teams who support the care of complex medicine patients within the Mississauga-Halton LHIN. Our in-patient units offer first-rate care in an innovative environment supporting the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs of our patients. Reporting to a Clinical Manager, the ideal candidate will be focused on providing excellent patient centered care in a dynamic environment where he/she will be given the opportunity to deliver care with compassion, excellence and courage.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of a recognized college or school of nursing
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and in good standing
- Able to function to the full scope of practice as per CNO
- Basic Life Support certification
- If working in an area with telemetry, successful candidates responsible for obtaining formal certification within six months of hire

- Experience working with acute care medicine patient populations, including respirology, nephrology, cardiology patients requiring telemetry monitoring and geriatric patients

- Current Fetal Health Surveillance certificate a definite asset
