Position Summary:
- Order and stock housekeeping supplies
- Distribute and store supplies (e.g. Linen, housekeeping supplies, food) in the appropriate room or area
- Maintain inventory of equipment in appropriate area on unit (e.g. Wheelchairs, stretchers)
- Transport patients to and from other departments in the hospital (e.g. X-Ray)
- Transport patients and/or furniture within the unit
- Deliver and set up patient meal trays
- Collect soiled trays and place them in meal cart
- Distribute patient nourishments on the unit
- Clean patient rooms, lounges, offices and common areas on a daily basis
- Clean utility rooms, pantries, corridors and nurses’ station
- Empty garbage, sanitize garbage containers, clean up spills and maintain floors (e.g. Dry mop, wet mop, buffing)
- Strip and make unoccupied beds and stretchers
- Uses chemicals and cleaning agents
- Maintain open and timely communication with team members and management staff, including using a pager as require
- Performs other related duties as required
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum Grade 12 education and/or equivalent in support services role preferred
- Ability to communicate with patients and co-workers
- Ability to read and write and follow instructions
- Must have the physical requirements to complete the job duties
- Must be able to work all shifts (Days, Evenings, Nights and Weekends)
- A positive work and attendance record is essential

Key Qualifications:
· BScN and or recent (1-3 yrs) experience in Rehabilitation Nursing, advanced clinical skills in management of Neurological, Neurosurgical is preferred
· Demonstrates a strong interest in rehabilitation and knowledge of neurological and neurosurgical conditions, complex medical and cardiac conditions an asset
· Current BCLS and evidence of continuing education is required
· Reliable, flexible, creative, self-directed professional able to work effectively and collaboratively in a “care pair” as well as with a high performance interdisciplinary rehab team
· Sound patient care nursing skills combined with effective interpersonal and organizational skills

Job Summary:
You will be responsible for the effective and efficient support of the communications needs of the hospital staff, patients and caregivers, for example:
- Locate hospital personnel through the paging system
- Manage emergency codes and events
- Announcements and paging of emergency codes/emergency events using the Hospital Public Address systems
- Receive and redirect all incoming telephone calls to the appropriate person/department
- Respond to all patient inquiries
- Direct inquiring parties accordingly
- Maintain and assign pagers
- Complete assigned tasks
- Assist with month-end report preparation
- Required to work at both Mississauga site or Credit Valley site

Qualifications:
- College Diploma/Certificate preferred
- Previous experience in a hospital switchboard or in a call centre environment an asset

- Demonstrated ability to work independently, and remain calm under stress
- Must possess effective communication and interpersonal skills to respond to staff and public

Qualifications:
- Candidate will be a diploma -graduate of a recognized College or School of Nursing
- Current certification of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario is required
- Current B.C.L.S. required
- Post-Graduate Operating Room certificate from approved college required
- Minimum of 1 year of current Operating Room experience in an acute care facility required
- Demonstrated ability to provide patient/family centered perioperative care
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, prioritization and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Standards, Guidelines and Position Statements for Perioperative Nursing Practice
- Evidence of ongoing, current professional development
- Computer literate: Meditech (ORM, OM, PCI), Word and Outlook
