The Manager will work in close collaboration with Senior Team members and internal/external stakeholders (e.g. Ontario Health, MOH, etc.) - In partnership with the Trillium HealthWorks Operational Readiness Team, lead integrated planning to prepare for future state M-Site and Q-Site Trillium hospital build(s), specifically related to capacity and service needs/changes - Ensure integration with QRPP, PSC, Strategy, Finance and Human Resources - Leverage integrated operational insights, best practices, tools (i.e. Epic) and partners (i.e. Partners Community Health, OHTs) capabilities to inform planning priorities & deliverables.   This position will work in partnership with departments across the hospital, while working directly with Senior Leadership and their teams to actively participate in decision making on clinical and corporate operations and initiatives including hospital performance, identifying and presenting opportunities and strategies to improve performance. Reporting into both the VP of Performance and Business and Intelligence and the VP of Clinical Systems and Informatics, the Business Intelligence department’s mandate is to plan, build and implement efficient, sustainable and secure solutions for data infrastructure, data management, data quality, data analytics, reporting and data visualization. Position Summary:   Reporting to Manager of Business Intelligence and Data Governance, the Senior Advisor for Business Intelligence is responsible for supporting the strategic direction of Business Intelligence for Trillium Health Partners. In addition, the Sr. Advisor will also be responsible for running BI project solutions and moving the needle on the skill set of Business Intelligence team. A self-motivated individual with exceptional technical, theoretical, communication and analytical skills with a demonstrated commitment to customer service will excel in this position.  Job Responsibilities: - To advise, coordinate, direct and model BI Solutions in SSRS, Power BI, EPIC, Data warehousing, BI developed data applications. - Provide Leadership in Modelling and Developing Business Intelligence systems including documenting business requirements, data warehousing, reports, BI solutions and Data Governance. - Expert analysis to identify opportunities, appropriateness of technology, and resolve issues in BI applications, solutions. - Education of stakeholders in regards to Data literacy and governance. - Design and develop dashboards and scorecards and reports using a third-party report writing tool such as SSRS, Power BI, or Tableau, to display data from a reporting server, - Build extracts using SQL, enterprise (EPIC,MS )reporting tools against enterprise systems (Clarity, Caboodle, Data warehouse). - Project management support to facilitate advanced analytics, development of BI solutions, upgrades and stakeholder engagement. - Be a leading voice in weekly meetings with team members to discuss the status of deliverables, shared issues, end user concerns, and upcoming milestones. - Identify issues that arise in the application area as well as issues that impact other application teams and advise on work to resolve them. - Be a leader in testing, debugging and deployment of all BI solutions and web applications following industry standard SDLC – Software Development Life Cycle procedures. - Provide professional internal and client-facing documentation (SRS - System Requirement Specifications, BRD - Business Requirements Documentation etc.) through a combination of wireframes, workflow diagrams and written documentation. - Achieve certification in vendor’s application as required.
