Current certification with the College of Nurses of Ontario is required - Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent experience paired with evidence of degree in progress (or commitment to commence the degree process in the near future) - Current BCLS, ACLS, and evidence of continuing education is required - Experience using EPIC, ChartMaxx, MedWorxx, MS Office - Minimum five years clinical experience with a demonstrated understanding of technical and/or clinical information related to Orthopaedics - Previous/ recent experience in a formal nursing leadership role is strongly preferred - Experience working with an interprofessional team and supporting a healthy workplace is a definite asset - Experience as a patient advocate is a definite asset - Ability to coordinate and delegate duties - Ability to coach, mentor and provide feedback while fostering a positive work culture - Excellent communication and facilitation skills – both oral and written -
