Knowledge & Experience Required………
- Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP)
- Preceptor training with OCP is an asset
- Membership with the Canadian Associate of Pharmacy Technicians (C.A.P.T) is an asset
- Experience in a hospital pharmacy, preferred
- Experience with Swisslog automation is an asset
- Sound working knowledge of computer applications i.e. EPIC and Microsoft Office
- Ability to handle a variety of complex tasks and issues promptly and efficiently while maintaining accuracy and meeting conflicting deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Strong interpersonal, problem solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience in providing exceptional patient centred care
- Ability to function efficiently in a fast paced environment

Your primary site initially will be Mississauga Hospital however, you may periodically be required to work at another THP site and therefore periodic travel between sites may be necessary.

You will be responsible for the technical and administrative functions related to unit dose dispensing and related manufacturing and prepackaging. The Structured Practical Training (SPT) technician student will complete all assignments and tasks as required by the Ontario College of Pharmacists for completion of the SPT program for Pharmacy Technicians. The successful incumbent must also be able to assist the Pharmacist with technical and clerical functions in an effort to attain a high level of clinical activity for the patients.

Qualifications:
- Successful completion of a Pharmacy Technician program from an accredited community college

Job Description:
The successful candidate will join the perioperative team of a large community hospital, affiliated with the University of Toronto Medical Academy. She/He will provide assistance to the Department of Anaesthesia with set up and monitoring of anaesthesia in the following areas: a busy Operating Room with 19,000 ambulatory and inpatient procedures annually including, oncology, acute care surgery, ophthalmology and pediatric services, and an obstetrical department with 5000 deliveries per year. The Department of Anesthesia includes expertise in regional anaesthesia with the current development of a regional block room facility. The Anaesthesia Assistant will provide quality services in accordance with professional standards, hospital policies, medical directives and physician orders and the strategic vision of the organization.
Key Accountabilities:
- Assist with case preparation including patient assessment, patient positioning, performing and assisting with intubation, anesthesia and intravenous access for surgical patients:
- Monitor anaesthetized patients in accordance with the medical directive
- Administration of appropriate medications as directed
- Ensure appropriate performance and maintenance of anaesthesia related equipment
- Participate in quality improvement monitoring and other initiatives perioperative program
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary perioperative team with reporting accountability to perioperative manager with professional accountability to Chief Anesthesia
- Schedule expectations include: Monday to Friday 0730 to 2300, with future potential of additional weekend assignments
Qualifications:
- Certified Anaesthesia Assistant

Job Description:
As an integral member of the multi-disciplinary Consultation Liaison Psychiatry Service, the Nurse Practitioner will work at the interface of medicine and psychiatry to provide psychiatric consultation and health teaching for patients admitted to medical/surgical units across the hospital. The team provides service and expert psychiatric consultation for individuals who develop signs and symptoms of psychiatric distress while they are in hospital for a medical or surgical reason, and help and support family members of these individuals.
As a member of the Consultation Liaison Psychiatry Service, reporting directly to the Program Director, Mental Health; the Nurse Practitioner’s Principle responsibilities include:
- Support and assist physicians and care teams to manage medically complex patients with comorbid psychiatric diagnoses on the medical units by providing consultation, assessment, health teaching and treatment recommendations.
- Work collaboratively with patients, MRP, care teams, and other members of the Psychiatry Consultation Liaison Team to develop coordinated care plans.
- Uses a variety of interventions to manage responsive behaviors of patients such as, confusion, delirium, dementia, aggression, agitation etc.
- Administers a variety of assessment scales in collaboration with the treatment team to record patient symptoms and/or behavior. For example, BPRS, CIWA, MoCA, MMSE, AIMS, Cornell Scale for Depression in Dementia etc. dependent on area of clinical involvement.
- Provides health teaching to patients, family members and frontline staff concerning medication, illness, symptom management, and recovery.
- Provides coverage to Nurse Practitioner colleagues within the Mental Health Department as required.
- Participate in program quality initiatives, and program evaluation as necessary
- Participate in scheduled program and individual meetings for clinical and administrative supervision
Key Qualifications:
- Graduate of a recognized college or school of nursing
- Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario in good standing
- Master’s Degree in Nursing or an approved nurse practitioner component
- A Nurse Practitioner’s certificate from a recognized program
- Registration in the Extended Class (EC) with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Experience working within nursing/primary care environment required
- Clinical experience working with the Geriatric Population with an in-depth knowledge of Dementia, BPSD and Delirium is an asset.
- Clinical experience working in mental health with knowledge of psychotic disorders, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders and trauma disorders, preferred
- Proven ability to interact with patients and their families in an empathetic and non-judgemental manner to support a model of recovery
- The ability to work effectively within an interprofessional collaboration model
- Exceptional skills of leadership, self-direction, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency of MS Office applications and other medical based systems (i.e. Meditech)
- Ability to be flexible and have willingness to provide a variety of tasks as required for effective patient flow

Overview:
The Carlo Fidani Regional Cancer Centre at the Trillium Health Partners Credit Valley Hospital Site is seeking a full-time Accelerator Service Technologist who will work in collaboration with the Medical Physics team to provide radiation treatment machine maintenance, service and technical support in Radiation Oncology.
The Radiation Oncology program at the Carlo Fidani Regional Cancer Centre has 6 Radiation Treatment Linear Accelerators and 2 CT Simulation/Scanner suites. The Cancer Centre is integrated with a Radiation Oncology Information System providing an infrastructure for electronic data in Radiation Oncology.
As an integral part of our Medical Physics team, the Accelerator Technologist will join a team of staff providing technical support working within a multidisciplinary team.
Note: The nature of this patient treatment operation may require the job to have on-call schedule and to provide off-hour coverage.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide regular and emergency repairs, service/regular maintenance to radiotherapy treatment units and simulators in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
- Interact with vendor service personnel from equipment manufacturers to affect repairs, and remain with service personnel during non-working hours when necessary.
- Responsible for preparation and delivery of equipment service reports.
- Responsible for maintaining an appropriate parts inventory.
- Maintain records related to equipment alerts and advisories as issued by manufacturer or other regulatory bodies
- Maintain current knowledge of emergency procedures, WHMIS and CVH, PRCC and departmental policies and procedures.
- Participate in Medical Physics Department Service and Quality Assurance meetings.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned or required
Qualifications:
- Successful completion of a 3 year Electronic Technologist/Engineering diploma from a recognized community college or post-secondary institution.
- Preferably 3-5 years of X-ray equipment repair. Diagnostic imaging, CT or MRI service is an asset.
- Specialized service training by Varian for medical linear accelerator servicing and associated peripheral components preferred
- Vendor and on-the-job training will be provided to satisfy the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission's License requirements for Class II prescribed equipment maintenance and service
- Experience in troubleshooting and repair of analogue and digital circuits and a familiarity of clinical applications and networking.
- Experience with high voltage, high vacuum, high power microwave technology, electronic control systems, computers, robotics and microprocessor-based controllers is an asset.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics is an asset.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.

Position
The Carlo Fidani Regional Cancer Centre at the Trillium Health Partners Credit Valley Hospital is seeking a permanent, full-time Medical Physicist, who will work in collaboration with the medical physics team to provide clinical support. The Credit Valley Hospital is a teaching hospital of University of Toronto, and the radiation oncology program is recognized by its high quality, high efficiency and innovations in safety and patient-centered care. You are a medical physicist who demonstrates passion and innovation for advancing medical physics.
Opportunity
The Radiation Treatment Program (RTP) of the Carlo Fidani Regional Cancer Centre is a fully integrated and electronic program that treats >4000 patients per year. The Cancer Centre is equipped with six Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators and two CT simulators (Canon Aquilion Exceed Large Bore and Philips Big Bore Brilliance). A fully networked infrastructure for treatment planning on Varian Eclipse on a Citrix platform for seamless treatment planning and delivery. The Varian ARIA oncology information system provides full electronic data for Radiation Oncology. Current clinical programs include Linac-based Stereotactic Radiosurgery utilising HyperArc as well as a state-of-the-art Brachytherapy suite (Elekta Nucletron, Flexitron afterloader). Plans are underway for an expansion of the Cancer Centre, infrastructure includes the addition of two Varian Halcyons with HyperSight, one Varian Ethos 2.0 and an Xstrahl 200 Orthovoltage X-ray therapy machine.
The Medical Physics department is integrated in the RTP in relation to its clinical, education and research mandate as defined by the mission and objectives of Ontario Health-Cancer Care Ontario and Trillium Health Partners. The department currently includes twelve medical physicists, four full-time and two part-time physics associates, three electronics technologists, as well as a shared administrative assistant; all of whom report to the Head of Medical Radiation Physics. An active Medical Physics Residency Program (one position) is supported through affiliation with the University of Toronto Department of Radiation Oncology (UTDRO) CAMPEP accredited residency program.
The successful candidate will posses the ability to work well in a strong, team-oriented environment and be responsible for all clinical and technical aspects of the medical physics program. Clinical activities will include acceptance and commissioning of new equipment, chart checking, quality assurance, treatment planning and delivery support, teaching, as well, research and development activities of the medical physics department. Academic appointment may be sought through the UTDRO.
Qualifications
- MSc or PhD in Medical Physics
- Successful completion of a CAMPEP accredited residency training program in Radiation Oncology Physics
- Membership in the Canadian College of Physicists in Medicine (CCPM) or equivalent is preferred and or required within two years of entering this position
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills

The Case Costing Senior Advisor is responsible for the following:
- Manage and maintain the case costing system (ADS) including set up, preserve case costing methodology in compliance with the Ontario Case Costing (OCC) standards.
- Responsible for working with clinical departments to ensure the accurate and timely acquisition, reconciliation and validation of data.
- Develop case costing reports using SAS programing, Crystal, SQL and other reporting solutions.
- Ensure the Ontario Case Costing submission to the Ministry is in accordance with provincial OCC standards.
- Collaborate with team members in Finance, Decision Support, and HIM as well as other key stakeholders to ensure data integrity between financial, statistical and clinical data.
- Manage changes to ongoing business process rules and promote continuous process improvement.
- Coordinate, analyze, interpret and present case costing data as required by both internal and external stakeholders.
- Leverage Case Costing and other benchmarking data to inform efficiencies.
- Provide education and training on Case Costing.
- Support other reporting as required
Qualifications and Skills:
- University degree in a health related field or applied health–clinical informatics and or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 3-5 years related progressive experience with Case Costing and OHRS/MIS reporting in a healthcare environment is an asset.
- Knowledge and understanding of Ontario Case Costing (OCC) Standards and Ontario Healthcare Reporting Standards (OHRS) are required.
- Strong computer skills including MS office. Advanced proficiency in SQL, Crystal Reports and SAS programing an asset.
- Knowledge of MIS/OHRS guidelines and reporting.
- Experience using Intellihealth and CIHI Portal for benchmarking purposes
- Experience with CIHI grouping methodologies (e.g. CMG’s, HIGs, weighted cases and knowledge of clinical datasets, (i.e. DAD, NACRS, CCRS, NRS, OHMRS). submitted to Canadian Institute for Health Information.
- Knowledge and understanding of workload measurement concepts are preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of patient based funding.
- Sound organizational and planning skills with the ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities in tight turnaround timelines.
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Summary:
As an integral member of the Network Services team, the Senior Network Administrator will actively contribute to developing and maintaining the high-level design plans for the enterprise network. This individual will provide technical leadership and consulting across the organization, including strategic planning and project planning. Key Areas of Focus:
The primary accountabilities for the Senior Network Administrator at Trillium HealthPartners is to analyze, plan, design, and implement the organization’s Network infrastructure according to best practices, while ensuring high levels of systems availability and stability:

The Supervised Practice Experience Partnership (SPEP) is a program delivered in collaboration with Ontario Health and the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO). SPEP Nurse Learners will work in a learner capacity for up to 450 hours under the direct supervision of a preceptor to demonstrate application of nursing knowledge, skill, and judgment. Learners will work in close collaboration with the healthcare team to demonstrate an understanding of their nursing accountabilities in line with the CNO Entry to Practice Competencies. THP will provide a supportive environment for learners to demonstrate evidence of safe practice as they assume increasing autonomy and accountability in the provision of care for patients.
Key Qualifications:
- SPEP is available to RN or RPN applicants, including nurses returning to practice.
- The College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) will indicate whether an applicant is eligible for the SPEP. Check the CNO applicant portal to see what requirements you have outstanding to determine if you are eligible.
- Applicants are eligible if they have met all their registration requirements except for:
- Evidence of Practice, or
- Evidence of Practice and Language Proficiency.
- Evidence of practice must have expired no more than 5 years for internationally educated nurses and 8 years for nurses in the non-practicing class.
- Applicants must provide:
- Evidence of qualification for a Supervised Practice Experience Partnership (found on CNO applicant portal)
