Trillium Health Partners is currently in the planning stages of a long term infrastructure plan announced by the Ontario government which has dedicated significant funding to support the construction of new hospital projects across Ontario. As part of this plan, THP is growing the multi‐disciplinary team that will lead planning for the redevelopment and expansion of both the Mississauga Hospital and Queensway Health Centre sites. With constant inputs on design and planning considerations from all the respective expertise on the team, our goal is to work together to ultimately produce a holistic and inclusive design.      Position Overview: Trillium Health Partners is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its Capital Planning and Redevelopment portfolio. Reporting to the Director, Planning and Design (M), the Senior Project Manager will be responsible for supporting THP’s Broader Redevelopment Project (BRP) at M site. M Site project is a full replacement of the existing Mississauga Hospital. The new build will accommodate acute beds and a full complement of clinical and non‐clinical support programs.   Responsibilities Key point of contract with Planning, Design and Compliance (PDC) /Prime consultant Mechanical, Electrical, and Structural leads; Lead contact with PDC/Prime consultant for all physical plant planning and associated Project Specific Output Specification (PSOS)/Specification and drawing development; Oversee the Mechanical, Electrical, and Structural design progression and ensure alignment with overall site strategy and priorities; Lead physical plant and technical specifications planning within the overall Master Plan project; Support the progression of the project through the Ontario Ministry of Health & Long‐Term Care’s capital planning process; Lead activities associated with sustainability and design integration; Coordinate and plans with other agencies having jurisdiction, including but not limited to the City of Toronto/Mississauga, and Infrastructure Ontario; Contribute to development of master schedule related to all building infrastructure planning milestones; Work closely with Lead, Facilities Management and Facilities Management advisor to ensure Facilities Management Output Specifications (FMOS) is coordinated with the relevant PSOS sections (M site only); Plans, procures (including contract management) and oversees multi‐disciplinary consulting expertise to achieve project goals; Advocates for the application of best practice throughout all aspects of the project; Contributes to and reports on project budget; Supports and acts as a champion for THP’s vision and values in applying a high level of planning expertise and partner focus; Build trusted relationships with the project team and key internal/external stakeholders to advance key initiatives; Support communication with project working groups that are integral to the success of the project(s); Engage and communicate with stakeholders on an ongoing basis and ensure changing resource and project requirements are met and understood; Other duties assigned, as required to meet timelines and deliverables.   Skills & Qualifications   THP is committed to internal talent, and therefore priority will be given to internal applicants.   University degree in a planning related field, preferably professional designation in engineering Masters degree in public administration, business administration, or healthcare administration or equivalent experience an asset Preferred 10 years of experience working in healthcare environments such as hospitals, long‐term care, government or private sector or equivalent required Understanding of the health capital planning environment in Ontario, including experience working with Ministry of Health & Long‐Term Care, LHINs, Infrastructure Ontario, municipalities, and/or other agencies having jurisdictions an asset Experience with project management processes and best practices, as well as corporate level reporting Experience with effective communication with physicians, clinicians, and senior leaders required Experience effectively engaging with and managing third‐party partners and delivery partners required Experience with government relations is an asset Excellent organizational, time management and project management skills Demonstrated ability to think proactively and to anticipate needs of senior leaders Superior analytical and problem solving abilities Superior data analysis and manipulation skills Demonstrated effectiveness at leading and working with teams as well as working independently Demonstrated effectiveness in managing ambiguity Ability to work under pressure and tight timelines, multi task and prioritize tasks effectively Effective interpersonal communications skills and ability to successfully build relationships Demonstrated ability to develop effective and comprehensive reports and presentations for various audiences, including executives, administrators and clinicians Superior writing skills Strong working knowledge of computer applications, especially the Microsoft Office suite   Location:   We offer employees, in roles that are conducive to remote work, the flexibility and the right mix of remote and in-office work (approximately 80/20).
