Position Overview:
Reporting to Director, Operations Stores and Supply Chain, the Supply Chain Contract and Compliance Manager will be responsible for the administrative oversight of hospital purchasing and all contract management initiatives at THP. The role will provide strategic leadership and subject matter expertise to Shared Services West (SSW) Sourcing and Purchasing teams and to THP stakeholders to ensure that all supply chain activities adhere to both internal and external policies and procedures (BPS Directive, SSW). The Supply Chain Contract and Compliance Manager will effectively provide guidance and direction to sustain a culture of process improvement, contract standardization, best practices, and enhanced communication.
Responsibilities:
- Reviews and manages all supply, service, and equipment contracts for compliance, financial accuracy, and consistency.
- Works with our partners to develop processes and analysis for product standardization, cost savings and KPI metrics. Monitors, evaluates and applies best practice principles to achieve overall best ‘Value for Money’.
- Evaluates opportunities for ongoing collaboration, risk mitigation and best practices by using Lean principles and methodologies.
- Acts as primary contact for SSW outsourced functions (Sourcing, Purchasing, and Capital Procurement).
- Responsible for Meditech Materials Management compliance. Ensures that individual access levels are approved, reviewed and signed off on an annual basis.
- Manages the preparation of ‘Briefing Notes’ for Finance & Audit and Board meetings.
- Oversees the preparation of all THP’s annual external reporting ie: Broader Sector (BPS) Compliance Attestation to CEO and Board, ensures all appropriate documentation is received from SSO’s, GPO’s and other outsourcing organizations.
- Responsible for the development, review and submission of the annual Procurement Activity Report (PAR) to the Ministry.
- Responsible for ensuring that the BPS annual Attestation requirements are completed and posted on THP’s website.
- Carries out regular contract performance reviews and internal compliance audits and checks.
- Serves as primary contract owner for various corporate hospital-wide service contracts ie: Stationary, Taxi or Courier contracts and responsible for managing any issues with stakeholders.
- Ensures that all contracts are developed and negotiated in adherence to best practices, BPS compliance and hospital processes.
- Responsible for Compliance Review/Attestation/ministry Reporting for BPS and Consulting Utilization.
- Advises Director, Operations Stores and Supply Chain on potential improvements to Supply Chain & Compliance Manager’s role.
- Manages broad stakeholder groups (Hospital operations, Supply Chain Management, SSW, and vendors) in order to execute on contracts and contract revisions as required to meet THP’s best interests.
- Oversees the development, maintenance, and adherence to supply chain documentation related to contracts including processes and procedures, user guides, training/operating manuals, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for core workflows to ensure efficient knowledge transfer and business continuity and in accordance with industry best practice.
- Coordinating rollout and training of new or updated policies and directives when required.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Contract Management or a related field.
- Professional designation from a recognized purchasing association – Certified Supply Chain Management Professional (CSCMP) or Certified Public Procurement Officer (CPPO) or Certified Professional Purchaser (CPP)
- Minimum 7-10 years of progressive contract management/procurement experience preferably in a Health Care environment.
- Broad understanding of supply chain management practices.
- Experience in a senior level management capacity (supporting projects with a manager level and above).
- Sound knowledge of contract law and contract management.
- Excellent knowledge of public sector procurement policies, procedures, and legislation (CFTA, CETA, BPSPD).
- Demonstrated ability to drive strategy with demonstrated capability in effective and creative strategies.
- Demonstrated success in leading complex cultural change in healthcare environment preferred.
- Excellent organizational, time management and project management skills.

Location:

Qualifications:
An integral member of the Diagnostic Imaging department, MRI technologist responsibilities include: performing MRI exams as outlined in the MRI procedure manual; operating ,trouble shooting and ensuring that medical imaging and ancillary equipment are performing in an effective and efficient manner; completing all clerical aspects of exam completion; training of students and new technologists; continuing education as required by associations and needs of department; all patient care responsibilities to facilitate the provision of optimal patient care; observing and understanding hospital visions and values of teamwork, integrity, excellence, customer-focus and innovation while maintaining patient confidentiality; performing cross-functional responsibilities as assigned, or requested; performing other duties related to the job classification, as required.

Reporting to Manager of Cogito and Business Intelligence, the Business Intelligence Developer/ Advisor is responsible for supporting Business Intelligence solutions for Trillium Health Partners. - Maintain and support existing BI Solution in SSRS, Power BI, EPIC, Data warehousing, BI developed data applications
- Define and document business rules for BI solutions, including data warehouse, reports, dashboard, scorecards and web applications.

- Experience developing indicators and associated documentation;

Program/Unit Summary:
Within our Neuro/MSK program, 3 distinctive units are home to one of Canada’s most comprehensive multidisciplinary teams that provides exceptional, patient-centred care to patients who have been diagnosed with brain tumours, subdural hematoma, subarachnoid hemorrhage, arterial venous malformations and spinal surgery patients.
4J Neurosurgery, a 14-bed unit, is a Regional Centre for Neurosurgery. 3J Neurosurgery Special Care Unit is an 8-bed unit provides high observation to Neurosurgery patients post-operatively and patients with higher care needs than can be managed on a ward level. 4J Surgical Spine is a 16 bed unit that provides acute care to patients before and after spinal surgery. As a part of an academic centre, our Neuro team participates in ongoing research, quality improvement and professional development initiatives and the daily, life-saving work offers a wealth of unmatched learning opportunities.
Position Summary:
- The Physician Assistant is a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program and is certified by the Physician Assistant Certification Council of Canada. New graduates of the PA program are encouraged to apply.
- The neurosurgical services are provided at the Mississauga Hospital location of THP. The PA works closely with the neurosurgeons supporting patient care on the inpatient unit.
- This position reports to the Director, Neuro/MSK program and to the Head of the Division of Neurosurgery for medical performance and works under the direction of the supervising Neurosurgeon.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing comprehensive and problem-focused histories, physical examinations, patient screening, and appropriate laboratory and diagnostic studies.
- Conducting daily hospital rounds, evaluating post-operative patients, assisting with discharge planning, and facilitating patient referral to the appropriate physician or agency.
- Conducting routine follow-up visits with patients, returning phone calls from patients, and managing prescription refills.
- Performing minor procedures on the unit after a skills assessment and satisfactory performance evaluation. These procedures will be initiated under a direct order or medical directive by a supervising surgeon.
- Upon completion of formal and informal education and documented competency, prescribing/ordering specific medications, but not narcotics, as delegated by the supervising physician.
- Working collaboratively with an inter-professional team, including but not limited to surgeons, interventional radiology, residents/interns/medical students, nurse practitioners, nurses, allied health professionals, and laboratory personnel.

- Engage in program operations, to provide integrated analysis and insights on program performance together with Finance, HR, Strategy Management Office, Business Performance Office, Quality to support clinical operations and external submissions
- Play a key role in the development BI tools (dashboards, reports) in support of hospital operations.
- Educate various stakeholders on funding methodologies, and other clinical methodologies, including recommendations to enhance quality of care and optimize funding performance
- Project management to support the collection and reporting of new structural, process, and outcome indicators to internal and external stakeholders working closely with Business Intelligence Advisors.
- Knowledge transfer/exchange strategies with internal and external leaders regarding interpretation of reports and utilization of various business intelligence technologies (e.g. Power BI, SSRS, Excel etc.) to enhance decision making.

KEY QUALIFICATION
- University Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related discipline (Graduate degree is preferred)
- 5 years Experience in a similar role
- Experience with clinical datasets (DAD, NACRS, CCRS, NRS, OHMRS, etc.) submitted to the Canadian Institute for Health Information and case costing data.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL
- Experience using IDS, Intellihealth and CIHI Portal for benchmarking purposes.
- Knowledge and understanding Patient Based funding.
- Demonstrated proficiency in quantitative and statistical analysis
- Demonstrated effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills with all levels of staff including physicians, patient service leaders, Ministry Representatives and various other internal/external client groups

A key enabler to THP’s strategic plan is data and analytics. The Performance and Business Intelligence portfolio will design, govern, analyze and deploy health data infrastructure, analytics and performance insights to achieve clinical and operational excellence, support population health research, and drive innovation. Building upon a number of key achievements, this portfolio will continue to advance the development of an enterprise health data strategy and roadmap. The Case Costing team is seeking an experienced Senior Advisor, reporting to the Manager of Case Costing.
The Senior Advisor position will provide expert analytics, interpretation and recommendations to improve clinical, and financial results to internal and external clinical and non-clinical leaders. A highly skilled, evidence driven individual with exceptional analytical and communication skills and a demonstrated commitment to advancing business intelligence to enhance decision making will excel in this position.
The Case Costing Senior Advisor is responsible for the following:
- Manage and maintain the case costing system (ADS) including set up, preserve case costing methodology in compliance with the Ontario Case Costing (OCC) standards.
- Responsible for working with clinical departments to ensure the accurate and timely acquisition, reconciliation and validation of data.
- Develop case costing reports using SAS programing, Crystal, SQL and other reporting solutions.
- Ensure the Ontario Case Costing submission to the Ministry is in accordance with provincial OCC standards.
- Collaborate with team members in Finance, Decision Support, and HIM as well as other key stakeholders to ensure data integrity between financial, statistical and clinical data.
- Manage changes to ongoing business process rules and promote continuous process improvement.
- Coordinate, analyze, interpret and present case costing data as required by both internal and external stakeholders.
- Leverage Case Costing and other benchmarking data to inform efficiencies.
- Provide education and training on Case Costing.
- Support other reporting as required
Qualifications and Skills:
- University degree in a health related field or applied health–clinical informatics and or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 3-5 years related progressive experience with Case Costing and OHRS/MIS reporting in a healthcare environment is an asset.
- Knowledge and understanding of Ontario Case Costing (OCC) Standards and Ontario Healthcare Reporting Standards (OHRS) are required.
- Strong computer skills including MS office. Advanced proficiency in SQL, Crystal Reports and SAS programing an asset.

- Advise, direct and model data solutions in EPIC, SSRS, Power BI, and data warehousing.
- Lead the planning, development and maintenance of tools that help in making business analysis and decisions. (ie. Power BI productionized reports, POP, Criticall Occupancy Board)
- Have a solid foundation in delivering complex solutions with a high level of technical and theoretical knowledge and project management skills.

KEY QUALIFICATION

The BPO, within the Performance and Business Intelligence portfolio, is accountable for integrated planning priorities that involve our Senior Team, Patient Care Services and enabling teams. This includes large-scale clinical initiatives, new clinical capacity, and initiatives that require the collaboration and planning across a multitude of enabling teams.

The successful candidate will help to deliver upon the main priorities of the BPO, including:
Integrated Enterprise Planning:
- Support the planning and delivery of the:
- Multi-Year Foundations of Excellence Planning
- Multi-Year PSC Capacity Planning
- Annual Operating Plan & Goals and Objectives processes
- Support the identification and alignment of short, medium, and long term provincial health and/or long-term care priorities with THP planning priorities. This includes developing strategic materials and proposals which clearly support THP’s capacity story through integrated planning insights
- In partnership with the Trillium HealthWorks Operational Readiness Team, support integrated planning to prepare for future state M-Site and Q-Site Trillium hospital build(s), specifically related to capacity and service needs/changes
- Partner with Quality, Practice, Decision Support, Finance and Human Resources to lead the development of THPs performance business cycle, while working with clinical teams to create, measure and improve performance standards
- Maximize available data through new EPIC system and other data assets, while leading the development of a corporate balanced scorecard
- Build performance capacity across the organization through support and training
- Partner with clinical leadership to identify performance opportunities, implement program specific performance solutions
Integrated Clinical Planning:
- Support the development of structure, process and change management plans required to ensure strategic alignment of care provision and risk mitigation. This includes the ability to translate strategy to clinical transformation and operations. Specifically:
- Develop and oversee a gated approach to project and change management planning and implementation
- In partnership with Patient Care Services program leadership, support the implementation planning of clinical change initiatives. This includes:
- Provide project oversight to Patient Care Services leaders
- Ensure integration across multiple workstreams and programs inside and external to THP
- Managing stakeholder engagement
Qualifications:
- Ideal candidates must have an undergraduate degree in business, life sciences, health informatics or related discipline required.
- Masters degree in public administration, business administration, or healthcare administration or equivalent experience required.
- A Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is strongly preferred;
- Experiencing within Consulting is preferred
- Experience implementing and translating performance dashboards and insights to influence action.
- Experience using data to influence action and results by working with users
- Experience with EPIC is an asset
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in project management in healthcare environments such as hospitals, government or private sector required
- Superior analytical, critical thinking and problem solving abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate needs of senior leaders.
- Demonstrated effectiveness at leading and working with large/complex teams.
- Experience organizing and facilitating meetings with multiple stakeholders.
- Effective interpersonal communications skills and ability to successfully build relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to develop effective and comprehensive reports and presentations for various audiences, including executives, administrators and clinicians.
- Excellent organizational, time management and project management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to multi task and prioritize tasks effectively.

Overview:
The Carlo Fidani Regional Cancer Centre at the Trillium Health Partners Credit Valley Hospital Site is seeking Full Time Accelerator Service Technologists who will work in collaboration with the Medical Physics team to provide radiation treatment machine service and technical support in Radiation Oncology.
The Radiation Oncology program at the Carlo Fidani Regional Cancer Centre has 6 Varian radiation treatment linear accelerators and 2 Philips Big Bore CT Simulation suites. The Cancer Centre is integrated with Varian ARIA oncology information system providing an infrastructure for electronic data in Radiation Oncology.
As an integral part of our Medical Physics team, the Accelerator Service Technologists provide technical support working with a multidisciplinary team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide broad range of technical services to the Centre including assessment, emergency repairs, service and maintenance of radiotherapy treatment units to ensure minimal downtime for the safe treatment of patients.
- Perform diagnostics and resolutions of failures/faults on radiotherapy treatment machines and simulators, and related medical process control systems and circuits, computer systems and networks, and computer software.
- Ensure all service and maintenance to radiation treatment equipment follows appropriate safety standards
- Interacting with service personnel from equipment manufacturers to affect repairs and remain with service personnel during non-working hours when necessary.
- Responsible for setting up and operating specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test and analyze the performance of radiotherapy treatment units and simulators and their components and systems.
- Participate in the planning and coordination of radiotherapy treatment equipment installation and removal according to established standards.
- Make recommendations concerning the purchase of equipment and mechanical and electronic components; arrange orders for equipment and parts.
- Responsible for maintaining an appropriate parts inventory, writing specifications, preparing and delivering service reports and technical reports, schedules and budgets.
- Maintain records and act upon related equipment alerts/technical bulletins and advisories as issued by manufacturer or other regulatory bodies
- Participate in design and development of hardware or software to resolve challenges in clinical or technical workflow as required by the department or program needs
- Maintain up-to-date advancements in electronics and keep abreast with industry trends and best practices.
- Participate in Medical Physics Department Service and Quality Assurance meetings.
- Represent the department or program on various committees and in meetings as required.
- Educate and promote health, safety and wellness in the work place.

Requirements:
- Completion of a three-year Electronic Technologist/Engineering diploma from a recognized college or post-secondary institution.
- 3-5 years of experience servicing radiation therapy equipment including completion of manufacturers’ training for radiation therapy equipment (medical linear accelerator) is required.
- Successful completion of manufacturers’ (Varian) training courses with at least one course successfully completed at the advanced level required.
- Specialized service training by Varian for medical linear accelerators and associated radiation oncology information system/infrastructure required.
- Experience in troubleshooting and repair of analogue and digital circuits, familiarity of clinical applications and networking of medical linear accelerator equipment
- Experience with high voltage, high vacuum, high power microwave technology, electronic control systems, computers, robotics, and microprocessor-based controllers is required.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics is an asset.
- Demonstrated knowledge of safety regulations/issues with respect to radiation generating equipment and associated high voltage.
- Demonstrated excellence in trouble-shooting electronic/electrical system failures
- Ability to participate in the installation of new equipment.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a multi-disciplinary team, including the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others, verbally and in writing.
